Young Devon

Supporting young people, together
Young Devon works across the South West to support young people navigating some of life’s most complex challenges — from housing and mental health to education, employment and wellbeing. Having originally developed the organisation’s brand seven years earlier, we were invited back to evolve the identity as the charity entered a new phase of growth and activity.

  • Brand evolution
    Illustration system
    Digital design
    Campaign support
    Creative collaboration

The aim was not to replace the brand, but to build on its foundations — strengthening its ability to communicate clearly while ensuring it remained approachable, optimistic and relevant to the young people and communities it serves.

Illustration as a human layer
A key part of the refresh was a collaboration with long-time creative partners Neasden Control Centre, who developed a bespoke suite of illustrations to sit alongside the existing identity. The aim was to introduce a more expressive, human dimension to the brand — something capable of communicating Young Devon’s work with warmth, optimism and empathy.

A digital platform for support
Working in partnership with Altitude, we helped translate the refreshed brand into a new website for Young Devon — creating a clear, accessible platform that brings together the organisation’s wide range of services, resources and stories. The site is designed to make it easy for young people, families and partners to find the help they need, while giving Young Devon a flexible space to communicate its work and impact.

Built as a flexible system, the identity works across digital and physical spaces — from website and campaigns to print and environmental applications — maintaining clarity and consistency throughout.
