Plymouth Arena
Independent. Iconic. Yours.
Plymouth Arena began with a desire for change. Formerly known as Plymouth Pavilions, the venue had history, scale and affection — but also a name and identity rooted in a different era. Our role was to help the team step back, reflect, and move forward with confidence.

Plymouth Arena
Working in close collaboration with Glow Digital, we led a programme of mission and vision development — a series of workshops and strategic conversations designed to uncover what the venue needed to become next. What emerged was honest and important: a team that had been through a difficult period, shaped by the impact of the pandemic and a shift in public perception. But also a team ready to move forward — with renewed energy, clarity and ambition. This was a moment to reset. To be bold again. To take pride in what the venue is, and what it offers the city.
We worked closely with the team on a journey of discovery, exploring the venue’s purpose, its place in Plymouth, the South West, and the role it plays in people’s lives. Through this process, a clear truth emerged: this wasn’t a loose collection of spaces. It was Plymouth’s Arena. Singular. Iconic. Shared.
The name change to Plymouth Arena marked a turning point. Clearer, bolder and more confident, it reframed the venue not as a relic of the past, but as a living, breathing cultural space for the city. A place where big moments happen — and where everyone is invited in.
